Here are a couple video samples of what The VoxLux Metaverse looks like in UHD / 4k resolution.
The first clip is a prototype video edit of a project with the talented Timothy Surya Das. The VoxLux Metaverse real-time graphics system will be driven by Timothy’s digital audio workstation (Ableton Live) to achieve note-for-note music visualization of both improvisational playing AND timeline control. The result is the world’s first digitally synchronized Music Visualization system that supports both studio based programming – Metaverse scene selection, transitions and more, and also on stage live 3D visualization of improvisational music creation! This demo is in early stages of development, check back for updates!
The second clip is just a random sample of early 4k UHD output from The VoxLux Metaverse. Although YouTube compression is a far cry from seeing it uncompressed, it still looks pretty good. Click the image, and when YouTube comes up, verify the gear icon in the lower right of the YouTube video window shows 4k. If not, click it, then click Quality and select 2160p. Of course you must have a 4k monitor attached to see it at full resolution… If you do, and the video is choppy, it means either your internet connection or your computer is not fast enough. If it’s only an internet issue, try letting it play once through (but don’t watch it 😉 ), then when it’s fully cached, play it again… Full screen mode is recommended, and good speakers or headphones…
